Columbia County Childhood Trauma Informed Network (CTIN) is a community initiative that brings organizations and individuals together to form a network. It follows the elements of collective impact. To learn more about Collective Impact, click here.
Our shared agenda is to increase resilience and well-being in children and families to ensure that all Columbia County children and families are resilient and thrive. That shared agenda is held together by Columbia Pacific CCO, the group responsible for providing administrative support to the CTIN.
Strengthening our community starts with ensuring that our children are healthy and whole. Unfortunately, too many children in Columbia County experience poverty, abuse, hunger, housing instability, racism and other childhood traumas that have serious, negative impacts on them and their community as they grow into adults.
The Columbia County CTIN network seeks to address childhood trauma and increase resilience and well-being in children, families and communities. This is big, ambitious work, but we believe it can be done when our community works together toward common goals. The organizations in the network have identified five focus areas, each with its own set of goals.
